not too bad...
first little tweak I would do is moving down the logon window to be evenly lined up with the top border of your forum. |

The right hand side column is a little too wide in my opinion, try browsing at a lower resolution and you'll find the forum becomes very "squished"
Edit/ Just to be a little pedantic as well, you have the W3C HTML 4.01 compliant buttons appearing on all pages and certainly any page with the forum on it is not compliant. |

Yah, I've noticed it's a bit squished at low resolutions, mainly when viewing a spacific forum inside the board. I'll probly change that when I get home. As to W3C... yah, as I'm not going to go through changing every & in a link to &, I'll probly check the display name (appears in title and as H1 above right side) for 'Chat' and remove the buttons in that case. |

I just tried them, but they have some major transparency problems on a non-white BG. They need to get that worked out before I use them.
Edit: I've switched back, since I agree the icons are nice... and since all of the icons with transparency problems only show up when logged on as admin, I've decided it doesn't affect the end user so meh.
Edit: Also, I'm happy with the forum currently at low resolutions. At 800 x 600, no pages need the horiz scroll bar except the topic view, and even it shows the entire forum (just hiding the right side bar: login, phat 5, poll, etc.), and the forum nav menu only extends two rows. At 1024 x 768 the entire forum fits fine in each page, with the menu not even wrapping to a second row.
Edit: /me is grooving to DJ X - Use Your Love.
Edit: I love that song! |
