Everything has been going OK with NT authentication up until now. I'm sure this problem existed all along, but I just uncovered it yesterday.
I have:
NT AutoLogon - On
Restrict Registration - Off
Email Validation - Off
Require unique email - Off
Users can access the forums and browse any topic or reply to messages without any problems...
EXCEPT If I send a link such as:
http://forum/topic.asp?WhichPage=1&TOPIC_ID=1&REPLY_ID=1
In this case if the viewer is a NEW user they get the dreaded:
There Was A Problem
You must be logged in to enter this forum
Arghhhhh
If they go back to the forum basic page and then re-view this page all works Ok.
Why? How can I fix this? |
