It was not my intention to harm the development of this excellent software. I also admire the development done so far by the development team and everybody around here. I didn't let my account locked/deleted because I did not end my existance here.
I resigned my duties here not because of the software, but because of the style this particular forum is run. This happened after trying a couple of weeks to correct the issues. Resignation is a one sided act and it is a personal protest.
I thank you if you support my ideas/ideals, but do it silently without "bombing" the development of the software. As far as I can see there is no value in protesting the other way, at least now. Perhaps at a later time we can have more freedom.

Thankyou for this bozden, I was beginning to think that I was being put under siege also 
I do not fully understand your reasons for resigning, but then I am unaware what went on after I locked the topic, which if anyone is actually interrested was not locked for any reson other than it was starting to get personal and the arguments of SOME not all (and I would not count you in that group) was turning the topic a way from its origanal healthy disussion. My decision to deny any more such discussions was for exactly the same reason, I saw no point in starting another topic which degenerate very rapidly. So if you have a problem with anyone, it should be me not Snitz, and since nobody even discussed the issue with me, I was very offended at your open letter since seemed to be accusing me of doing things and behaving in a manner which I do not.

Huw, it does not mean that I gave up my thoughts and I'll continue to voice them when needed. It is up to you that you delete/lock my posts and/or my account  .
I had no intention to continue the dissussion after the "open letter", but you replied them and I had to reply too. That helped to emphasize my thoughts, but if you cannot empathize, I'm afraid I cannot be of any further help .
Don't feel sieged, but please pay more attention to different thoughts.

Eh...I might be total out of line here, but what topic/discussion was it, that made everyone disagree so much? ... I´m completely astonished.
and to Boz - I hope things can be sorted out and that you will bless us with your skills again one of these days - Snitz needs guys like you - and remember it´s just programming, nothing else.
