Anyone familiar with Sidney Bechet? Sweetest high reeds ever!
I am asking cautiously because the question usually draws a blank stare by most Americans, even Jazz lovers. |

I'm not real familiar but here is a quote
"Jazz Musicians have dance in them, and Jazz dancers have music in them, or Jazz doesn't happen." Sidney Bechet |

I did not know about this quote you used, but it sounds like something that would come from him - this guy certainly had it all!
He has been my favorite since teenage days (about 250 years ago ) So few people over here know him because he spent most of his life in Paris. I do have an LP of a very rare concert he did with Armstrong. A gem of an artist, in a class of his own. |

Have been away from my music for a good many years now, used to play a bit of everything back in school, primarily guitar but also Piano, Sax and Drums did a lot of early "electronic" music on the ole Amiga with a MIDI Keyboard years ago. |

I do an incredible job playing the Stereo. You wouldn't believe the great I can produce out of that thing.
I'm not musically inclined (although I enjoy it a great deal), which is always a humor point for my wife. I find it amazing how folks can play all the instruments with such great coordination. |

Speaking of wifes, my better half has this really neat Celtic Harp she plays it's actually a really cool instrument takes a lot of co-ordination to play. |

I've been playing the trumpet for about 8 years now (since 5th grade). It's quite fun when you start playing the theme songs for movies (Jurassic Park, Start Wars, etc...) |

Hello,
not sure but i think i play guitar since 4 years now. I play not very good because you have to relax if you want to learn much. If you have no time you can't relax. But dosn't matter, i love it.
I own a 7ender Dreadnought (DG7) wich you can compare with this one. Actually i prefer to play my electric guitar (~43 kb)
My dream is still a Gibson Les Paul. But that instrument is to expensive for a beginner like me. The sound comes from your fingers not from equip, if you know what i mean!?
