I just finished my first forum! As of Thursday night I knew nothing . . . It's Saturday morning and I'm done! MODS and all! Please stop by and let me know what you think . . .
I'm not normally the type to toot my horn but I really am proud of myself for this one! I LOVE Snitz, I love the forum and I will sure be here a lot. I have a feeling I'm going to become addicted to adding MODS (although I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing!). I'll see you in the MOD help forum . . .
One tip: try creating your own buttons and "powered by" logo (or switch it to a text link in the Admin Options), or use the ones that have a transparent background and were made for black backgrounds. The ones you're using now are meant for white/light background and look nothing less than awful.
I agree. I'm not happy with the buttons either. Quick Question--transparent backgrounds-- is that a default option or something I need to add? It is on my 'to do' list to do something (all though I wasn't quite sure what) about the butons. Thanks for the tip/feedback, it really is appreciated!
if I'm not mistaken there's a ZIP file called "Tools" with the other forum files. In that you should be able to find some replacement images for black backgrounds.
