I would agree, I use the "active topics" page all the time and the lavendar color is a little hard on the eyes.

If I may suggest a little thing to the new color set, then I mean that the text in the Category/Header cells would look better if it was white. |

I dont think that the yellow and pink folder icons do any colour scheme justice either ! |

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. I don't mind changes, as long as they make things better.... |

Have to agree, the Lilac/Lavendar colour would imo be better suited on a florists forum.
Theres a bit of silver/gray in the new logos why not head that way instead ? |

I as well thought these were easter colors. I would try some beveling for some of the things like the logo has, get up with the times like the other forums. |

But, this is IE only. The gradients are done without any images at all. But to be cross-browser friendly, we would have to use images.
I like what you did here Richard. |

Yeah, the testforum looks great, but here the colors are a litte too much. I prefer the original colors. |

I agree... these colors are just a little off... we could have a color scheme competition... hmmm...
One thing that would be supurb would be to incorporate the header graphic mods into the base code... or even a variant that allows you to do one of three things:
1. color (like today) no graphic 2. background graphic in each place colors are available 3. IE gradient support
This is a major mod to the code to go into base though... and when this one comes down to it, it's up to Bozden and Richard... since they are the gate keepers right now :) |

o... the reason I mention the gradient before solidifying a competition, is becaus if the gradient is going to be incorporated, then the competition should be performed with that in mind, if not, then we would be able to run the competition now. |

bozden is in charge of code changes in v4.0, so I'll leave it up to him if he wants to add some sort of header graphic code. |

Until the new colors are decided, can the old colors be put back? |
