I have had my Snitz based site up for some time now and would appreciate any feedback you can provide to improve the UI or just any feedback in general.
You have done a nice job. The colours aren't my cup of tea but that is personal preference. I like your menu section. I don't like the top of the page - it feels too empty - too much white space like something is missing.
Have you considered hiding your member only forums? Then as soon as someone logs in they will see them? Or is there a reason you want them visible to all?
Thank you for your reply. The main reason I show the members only forums is to let possible new members know what they will get by becoming a member. I guess I use it to recruit new membership.
As for the blank space at the top, that should have been filled with a banner. However, sometimes the banner engine chokes and does not display the banner.
I think it looks good, very clean and easy to read, but one thing you might consider is make the cell backgroud color different from white, not much different, but a light maybe grey or tan so that it stands out a little from the white background.
