Excuse me - I don't think your substitute for the forgot password link is appropriate. I find that offensive! |

I don't see anything wrong with the "forgot your password" link, but maybe that's been changed since you posted. What I do see that's completely wrong is the "powered by" image at the bottom of the pages. It only says "Snitz". Changing that logo/image into something that fits in with the looks of your forums is allowed, but only if your new image contains the text Powered by Snitz Forums 2000. Yours obviously doesn't, so I'm going to have to ask you to change it back to the original image, create an image that fits the requirements, or use the text link by going to the Admin Options > Main Forum Configuration and setting Use Graphic for "Powered By" link to off |

There is a link under the login stuff when I am logged in and it says **** me. Have you logged in Frutzle?
phikap - sort the image out as Frutzle described above as you are breaking copyright. |

Sorry, you were right Kat. I hadn't logged on (I hardly ever log in just to view a forum) but I did just see the link. It's not the "forgot your password" link though, because that link isn't shown when you're logged on. It's the link for the Admin Options. It seems phikap has turned off the secure admin options (might be called differently) and the link for the Admin Options is now showing, just as the icons for creating, editing and/or deleting categories and/or forums. |

to begin with, i had forgotten that i had that in there. i forgot to take it out after i moved it from the testing forum. I FORGOT. if you notice now it is changed. I was frustrated and thats all i could think at at the time. Addressing, the offesiveness of my site....To begin with offensive is in the eye of the beholder. For example the other day i was going through the "acceptable" forums, when i came across some lefties forum as well as a stauch conservative, depending on my political both forums could be seen as offense. I can find a church related site offensive if I am an atheist which im not by the way. My point is this. people who come to my site like my forum, it is tailored to them. Although i would like to make everyone happy i cant. I DID change the link back after i read that i had forgotten to change it back. As far as nominations are concerned although i would like one, i dont think i would get one, and if I change my content i wont have anyone on my board to see my "tasteful picture" depicting that i won some internet thing. thank you that is all. i dont mean to make enemies, i just have to say things that i feel need to be said. thank you for all your support, and i truly apologize that you dont like my forum. |

Also, on a side note.
The rules say forums that contain illegal/adault material will not be considered. The rules say nothing about 'offensive' sites, and rightly so because as phikap has explained, offensive is an opinion of the reader. |

well i was just tinkering with it it should work, to supplement my comments earlier, i also believed that this was a forum to show off your forum, the code, implementation, and graphics and such, not to judge my content, if you have read this far most of you know of comments made by others, so i have switched the board to allowed members only, to make sure no one stumbles across something that would "offend" them, other then that any pointers about hte lay out of the forum would be great thanks everyone. |
