Sorry if this was posted in the wrong area but I looked for a comments sections and was unable to find one. I figured what better place to post then in here where alot of the peeps here can see.
I would like to take the time to applaud the coders, developers, beta testers, and all the helpers (for a lack of a better word) for all their help. You guys are what make implementing this forum so easy.
It not often enough someone is recognized for the help & support they give others. And thats what makes being a part of this forum gratifying for me. Im sure all you peeps out there agree.
Leave me take this time to suggest a topic for the forum. You guys should add a topic called "comments" where you can be recognized for all your help and dedication.
Well what you think peeps? Lets show these peeps we all appreciate there help & support by posting a comment.

I agree that there should be a very easy way to add "comments" or testimonials. I was looking for something like this some time back, and found this page:
http://forum.snitz.com/testimonials.asp
I also wrote a pretty good review for aspin.com, but I don't think it ever showed up. Wish I'd saved it; the admins could post it here! |

I don't know - it is nice to get a thankyou but it might be over the top if we actually created a forum for it. That isn't why most of us help out anyhow. |

Listen to your customers/members, they want it give it to them and say thank you. Besides, for all the potential users visiting the site, its a good place for them to get a feel for the membership. We know that its always easy to find the negative stuff as we are all vocal when we are unhappy. As such we should have a place to celebrate the "happy" right after we are done reading something from the "unhappy"! |

Don't forget that adding another forum also increases our workload
I would have thought that this is where you would post them
Announcements: Community A place for community members to post announcements they feel are pertinent to everyone that visits these forums. |

I agree with Kat's original reply, and HuwR pointing out the Announcements: Community forum makes a lot of sense, especially seeing how many happy Snitzers already posted their "thank you's" there. This forum is used for that purpose too though, but I think something to remember is that if anyone posts a "thank you" in the wrong forum, (one of) the moderator(s) of that forum will move the topic to a more appropriate place. A special "Testimonials" forum would be a bit much in the light of what I just wrote, IMO. |

I agree with Kat as well. Although positive comments and praise are always welcome, I don't think a new forum is needed to give testimonials. They can be posted in the Community Discussion areas and members wanting to show off what they did with this great product also have a place to do that. |
