Looking very nice one thing i would do is add the Poll MOD to your forum and then use the Home Page Poll Mod (or whatever it's called) for your poll on the homepage.
I'd keep the login form where it is... but I'd use the "standard" Soulcharge logo and add a headline image at the top of your forums as you did on other pages ("A tale of souls and swords", "Seeking for information", etc.)
Nice job! Can I suggest, though, that you create/download some new icons that would better tie in with your colour scheme? Also, as you have no moderators, you should turn that column off to give yourself a bit more room to play with.

There's a couple of sets available via the "Snitz Icons" link in my signature, the blue set might work but methinks it might be a bit too blue. You could try the Snitz section of Frutzle's site also.
