Hi All,
Has anyone taken a look at the new Marcomedia.com redesign? http://www.macromedia.com. I've heard a lot of complaints about the all Flash site being slow, but it runs perfectly fine for me.
I don't see what the big deal is though. |

The product pages mostly look the same to me, and those are what I'm interested in. Honestly though, I hardly ever visit Macromedia.com except when I need to get an answer to a question, and a while ago when I found out Homesite 5.2 (also Homesite+ 5.2 (the MX version)) was released. |

Is Homesite+ 5.x really considered MX? I'm still using 4.5 at work but I have 5.x at home. I've been using this product since Allaire had it and its a nice quick editor for doing page editing, not project handling though. |

Homesite+ 5.x is probably no different from Homesite 5.x when you look at functionality and looks, but something is defenately different between those two versions. I found that out when I tried to upgrade from Homesite+ 5.1 to Homesite+ 5.2 and downloaded the upgrade file for Homesite 5.2 instead of Homesite+ 5.2. So instead of one upgrade file for both versions, they made two seperate files. There has to be some kind of difference then, right?

lol... I thought Macromedia always said they were so concerned about the accessibility of their site (for screen readers etc.). If they now have a site that doesn't work on those browsers, then how will it work on special browsers like screen readers? |

A screen reader is a speacial browser that tries to translate content into audio for blind persons. |
