Just looked at post.asp on your forum. What did you want to do? Change the background color on that page? Looks okay to me.
Also, it occurred to me that a very easy and fast tweak you could make would be to change out your icon set. MeTV's colored Snitz-based icons come to mind.
I'm not sure how it was done on metalreview, but I think you could use the Site Integration MOD for that (search for it). This MOD will allow you to add stuff on the top, bottom, left, and right of your forum. Most people use it to make their forum look like the rest of their site.
