Since I want to install a new snitz forum and translate it to hebrew I'm debating which version I should use. should I use 3.4 or 4beta? I know that it would be much simpler if I use ver4beta but the question is - will it be compatible with the final version when released?

| If you translate the current 4.0Beta3, creating a hebrew lang file, most of the lang file you will be creating now will be used for the next version, 4.0Beta4, so it's like an investment if you use v.4.0Beta3. Also there will be no problems upgrading from 4.0Beta3 to 4.0Beta4. |

I don't have the exact measures of the current situation, but it was about 50% re-usability. I have the means to create a v4b04 lang file when it is ready. The problem is you need to go thorough it to merge some strings and translate the new ones.

Now.. Bodzen, you probably hate this question but I'll ask it anyway :-) Will you release v4b04 in next month? (in that case I'll wait before I begin the translation process) or should I go ahead and translate v4b03?

v4b04 will not be usable for installing public forums, it will be for beta test purposes only... On the other hand I plan to make the language file public to the translators.

I plan to leave the debugging related stuff inside v4 beta 04, so that people who are not very knowledgeble enough to remove them cannot make use of it. Otherwise it will be full package. I don't want to have trouble supporting multiple beta versions. That is because I don't expect too much period between v4 beta 04 and v4RC1...
