I was anxious to get a chatroom going on my forum and got some ideas here and worked it out. Thought I would share this.

You can use almost any chat script, you just don't need the login part.

This will keep anyone not logged in out.

IF len(Request.Cookies("Snitz00User")("Name")) = 0 THEN
response.write "Sorry, you need to be logged in as a member of the Forum"
Response.End
end if

This captured the username:

request.cookies("Snitz00User")("Name") & "<FONT COLOR=""black""> enters the chatroom
