I am having a very strange problem with my Active Users 4.0.17 after installing Private Messenges for 3.4.03. I'm fairly confident that I have the correct code added in my active_users.asp and LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_1033.asp because I copied these two files from a fresh copy of the 3 MOD install (consists of PM, Active Users, and Smile Manager) that is provided in another section of this message board after cutting and pasting the information was giving me the same results. Anyways, my problem is that if a user is in their PM box, the Active Users page will return the user's correct location in corrct format and does not have a link. However, all other pages listed in Active Users page will show up as a broken link (which causes the font to be a bright yellow). If I comment this code out:
if strOnlineLocation <> "" then strPage = strOnlineLocation
then the Active User's page will not have broken links for any pages, however, the user's location (current page) is then blank in Active Users for all people within a PM page rather than reporting where in PM the user is. I hope this makes sense, if not, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. |

It's ok, although I prefer to help through the forum.
Anyway, I looked through your active_users.asp, and you seem to have added the code in the right places (it works for me). I tested it on my test-forum, and it works ok for me. I think that the error can be found in your LangMODS_Ls3kAU4_1033.asp. If you don't locate the error yourself, you can email it to me and I'll look through it. |
