Hi, Im doing a testrun of this version, on a free site at brinkster! I later plan to convert my current forum on premion site ther, which is all ready runny sucessfully.
When uploading this forum, do I up load it as is? with all the same exact directrys?
also, does the config.asp file go in the main directory like it is in the download, or in the forum folder? Thanks I havent been able to get it going yet, but I am a newbie at this.

exactly as it is, except put the DB in the /db/ folder and don't forget to edit your config.asp to match the location of your DB |

you should also add M_AUHIDE field to the MEMBERS_PENDING table of the database.. other wise you might encounter problems with new member registration.
all i did was copy the field from the MEMBERS table and pasted into the PENDING table. |

Can't tell you if it is a known problem... but it sure was missing from my database. After searching for "M_AUHIDE" here i was able to put the pieces together and fix the problem. |

I'm having this same problem. The trouble is that I don't have access installed on this machine, and don't know the SQL command to add this field to the database through the MOD utility. Help please?
