Using NT Authentication, I still wanted to have to approve new members before they could use the forums. I believe that that is done by changing the option in the EMail Server configuration Specifically changing the values in the entries for "E-mail Validation" and "Restrict Registration".

When I do not restrict registration, everything looks and works fine and the values are as follows:

E-mail Validation: On: Off:X
Restrict Registration: On: Off:X

When I am attempting to restrict registration I chage these values as follows:

E-mail Validation: On:X Off:
Restrict Registration: On:X Off:

However, when I do this and a new domain user attempts to access the site (default.asp), they receive the following error:

There Was A Problem With Your Details

E-mail Address already in use, Please Choose Another
E-mail Address already in use, Please Choose Another

Am I doing something wrong? Pending Members shows zero (0)...

Can I use NT Authentication AND approve membership? If so, how?

not sure if you can use NT auth and approve membership .. never tried that ... but you can get rid of that error by selecting to not have unique emails.
