I'm at a loss ....

I have just finished testing and installing IPGate v0.8.0 BETA on a server. The install on the test instance went VERY well, with banning of a nominated IP working perfectly.

I then transferred to the main forum directory. For some strange reason the strIPGateBan variable does not get set. I can copy the same file between the two instances (I even did a light mod to display the variable value), but still no go.

Any ideas ? I think I have run out.

Anyone ? I've been trying a few things, but no progress at all. It seems that the application variables for the IP MOD are only working on the test instance and not on the production instance. Would there be any reason for this ?.

I take it you did this on the production server?

Yep, just checked it again to be 110% sure.

I have also changed the admin_ipgate page (adding in numerous Response.Write's). I can see when it processes the form the strIPGateBan "seems" to be getting set to 1, but when the page reloads it is always set to ""
