I would like the form to send me emails when only posts are made in the events calendar... how would i go about doing this.

You could do it, but the Events Calendar is nothing but a warped (in the nicest possible way !) post, just like any other post.

The other question to answer is how would the MOD code know who to email ? would your email be hard-coded (just for you ?), or would you want a subscription system for everyone ?
