Is there a way to specify certain use that can view a topic (private) and then have all the other users view the rest (public)

turn on private forums in admin options, then for each forum you want private, you can edit it's properties and either specify auth type to be for certain users or by password.

Ok.. I see where to go to the properties (thanks ruirb) but i dont see anywhere in there that you can specify the auth type???
