If you edit each forum, you can set the default for each one. But, if a user changes the settings by using the dropdown box, then those settings will override your default settings (only for that user though).
Thanks for the response. So if I go in to each forum as Admin and set the default, it will stay at that for everyone when they go in - unless they change it using the drop-down box.
