What this means "Your strDBType is not set, please edit your config.asp
to reflect your database type." And how do I fix it (sorry I'm a big time ASP newbie I am using MySQL if that helps the process of helping me

you need to edit the config.asp file and uncomment (remove the single quote from in front of it) the strDBType that corresponds with the Database you are going to be using.

You will also need to edit/uncomment the strConnString that corresponds with the Database you are going to be using as well.

This is all explained in the readme.htm file that is included with the forum.
