ok i am new to xp.. i figured out alot, and everything... but iis is just driving me nutz!! i tried setting up the forum, but the only page from the forum i can access is the setup.asp and then when i try to setup the database it gives me a whole **** load of errors. does anyone know if there is any locks or something on the iis5? anyways if you know, please reply and let me know !! i really want to set it up but its just not working.. |

Not completely. In 2K the security tab is shown by default, not hidden like in XP. |

One very minor correction, Thunder, Windows XP comes with IE6 not 5. |

no, it was more because of the subject (IIS5) and the fact that every known IIS 5.1 is limited to 10 connections |

Think we might be talking cross-purposes (not that it matters anyway ), I suspected that carefree glanced quickly at the topic and read IIS as IE hence his remark about XP coming with IE6 not IE5.x. Your entirely correct about IIS, but I wasn't referring to that. |
