Hey all, just want to say that snitz has to be the most amazing bit of code ever concieved. I was using it at forumco for almost 2 years before I discovered the actual snitz website. Now I said good-bye to outside policies and popups and got the newest version and I couldn't be more pleased. The only thing is I can't for the life of me get the avatars to work how they did over there. I have seen the avatar mods around here, but I want users to be able to pick their own instead of a pre-selected set. Or better yet, to be able to choose either way. Can someone help me out?
hi~ Synthpsi, there are two different way to allow user "pick their own avatar" instead of choosing from the avatars list added by Admin. 1. "User Submit Avatar" link URL you can found this addon feature in the My Avatar Addon package. or try another Custom Avatar Mod. 2. "Upload Avatar Mod" if you can get the Upload feature working on your website, you may want to try this one. (you can get this mod in Crash's File Exchange for 3.3...)
anyway, there are a lots Avatar addon features. just depending on what you need on your forum. and of course, you may need to get the basic Avatar Mod working for you first.
