Hello,

I've read through several posts related to enabling subscriptions (using the Search). I've set up my forum as follows:

1. In Feature Configuration of Admin Options I have set the subscription level to Subscribe to Whole Board
2. In Edit Category I have set the subscription level to Category Subscriptions Allowed.
3. In Edit Forum Properties I have set the subscription level to Forum Subscriptions Allowed.

I've also confirmed that my E-mail Configuration is set up properly, as well as my own e-mail address in my profile. After doing this I posted to a forum, clicked on the subscribe icon, and asked a colleague at work to reply to my post. At this point I have not received an e-mail notification that she replied (it's been a half hour).

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might have missed?

Thanks,
Ryan

I guess not. I can't "Send Topic to a Friend" successfully. Is that what you meant?

Sounds like your mail feature isn`t working. Sure, the mail component is working properly and you have entered the right mail server address?

If that's the same as our POP3 Server, then I know for sure that I am entering the correct Email Server Address. So I'm not sure what else to do.

What about the mail component (not POP3)?

naisso,

You need to enable subscriptions by choosing a subscription level in Admin Options -> Feature Configuration.

It is currently set to CDONTS. I asked one of our IT guys if that should be OK. He said it should be. He also said we use ASPQMAIL, so I'll try that.
