Once in, I scrapped everything and replaced the work in progress with Snitz and ACT! for minimal outlay.
Snitz has been one the greatest success stories in my career.
Similar situation here. Snitz, combined with an industrial strength Japanese search engine, forms part of the Knowledge management project at my company. Saved us tons of $$ and I think we'll get a better product in the end.

I once got a 10% bonus for using Snitz on the companies intranet... They loved it. Now only if it could solve world hunger and prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. |

I used to work for not 1, but 2 different IT recruitment companies, and do you think that they had a problem?
Yep, they sure did. Most of the staff would have to be shown how to log on each morning, and wanted to know if there was a way they could make it auto logon each morning. Nice and secure with personal details. NOT...
They had trouble printing, even to their default printer attached to their machine. And these people made desissions for alot of IT people here in Australia and quite a few overseas to obtain employment in the IT industry in Australia.
It don't make sense to me....

Yeah, recruitment companies in Sydney are just as bad. I answered an ad once, when I found out who the employer was I commented "Nah, not for me, I contracted there for 14 months full-time, and I found the commuting hard". So the bright-spark recruiting agent emailed me with directions on how to get the train there or which way to drive. FOURTEEN MONTHS !!! Geez !! |
