Hi,

I am running a Snitz on an Intranet server and I am wondering if anyone has done or is doing a mod which allows the users to post links to files on network drives?

It would mean Snitz supporting the file:/// tag.

I did search before posting so I apologize if this has already been done; if it has, where can I find the mod?

Thank you for a great board!

Scratch that...I know why it didn't work for them. They didn't use the [url ][ /url]tags.

But perhaps automatic hyperlink creation could be done -- like it is with www.somesite.com?

it already is if you prefix the path with file:///

file:///c:\somedirectory\somefile.txt

Most of the users will mess that one up -- but I'll tell them anyway ;)

IMO it would be cool if the board would create the link when it finds the "<drive>:\" pattern in the post. :)
