When I started using the newer version of Snitz (having used 3.3.03), I tried out the Moderated forums, but got confused when no alert was shown (when new posts are made)...I then saw the small icon 
Anyway...my question is, would it be possible to show a piece of text/picture etc in inc_header.asp when a post/topic is made in a moderated forum?
For instance, the alert could say...
Their is an un-moderated post/topic in Forum 1
(the text in bold would change depending on the forum)
Has anyone any idea how to implement this? |

A long time was spent streamlining and optimising the code so that 3.4 did not cause performance problems for people on slow connections, what you are asking is a step backwards, since the information you want is already displayed, why make it do it again, especially since it is not of general benefit to your community, only your admins and moderators.
Generally, if nobody has responded, it means they are either not interested in writing the code mod you require, or do not know how, you should not bump your posts just because nobody has answered. |
