Hi.
I've read all postings about not getting subscription email from forum (whole board). I'm using v4.b03 with alle patches installed (finally), all Admin settings checked (email ON, setting "subscription to all forums" is chosen, server email settings OK, Send email to friend works, Send email to member works), all forums have the setting "subscription by forum" and I can't understand why this function should not work...
The forum is in Norwegian language: http://www.vti-fotball.no/forum
What files and functions can I check? Could there be a problem with the database? Is there a way to find out where things stop?

All forums set to "Forum Subscriptions Allowed"...
Any ideas?

Hi.
For one moment I thought it worked. But it didn't. Can you explain to me how the forum, the categories and the topics should be set?
I would think that the Webmaster (Admin) could "Subscribe to whole board" and every time there is a new posting og change the Webmaster would get an email message. Right?
The same should happend to a "normal user" which subscribes to the whole board, a category or a topic.
I'm testing from my own computer with different users, is there something that could disturb me testing from the same computer..?

Yes, it should work that way. Everybody should receive a mail, if he is subscribed to the board/category/forum/topic and a new post is made their. This happens only if another one then himself post their.
If you send me a username and a password for an Admin account, I will look into your settings.

This had been a headache for me and now everything seems to function. Good work. PS: What can other users learn of this. How should the subscription settings be set for the forum to function perfect?
