Hi all you Snitz fans...
I'm using Snitz Forums 2000 v4.b03 at http://www.vti-fotball.no/forum (in norwegian language). Everything works fine, exept one pekuliar thing:
When both Webmaster and TechAdmin (2 different users at two different computers) are subscribing for changes in the forum, and a user posts a message, the forum will send an email to Webmaster and TechAdmin.
And this works. The email goes out from the forum and is addressed to the right users (the email address is correct).
BUT, on the first line in the email body, the text says "Hi Webmaster" - and this text is the same in the emails for both Webmaster and TechAdmin. It seems that The Forum is picking the first available username in the list of the forum subscribers...
Anybody have any ideas..?

Hi.
Yes, I downloaded the patches some days ago and uploaded them to my site. I don't know what happened to my forum, but after the patches was implemented I got severe problems with some menues (hanging) and other things...
Finally I reinstalled the v4.b03, changed to my altered files and everything works really nice. I've tested most of the forum and everything seems to function.
Is there ONE file or some code I can change to fix the problem mentioned above?

Yes, please replace the fLangN function (inc_language.asp) with the new one in the patch.
But: the patch has very important security fixes. Never open a site without these fixes.< |

Hi again.
OK, I finally did it over again and copied the patches to my forum. Now everything works... exept email subscription service...
New problem: se my posting in this forum with the title:
No subscription email from v4.b03
Hope you can help me understand the problem...
