No encrypted passwords in database!

Hi Snitz fans.
Up to this day I used Snitz Forums 2000 version 3.4.03 (english) and everything worked fine (http://www.vti-fotball.no/forum/forum.asp). To day I changed to version 4.beta 3 and installed it with danish languagepack. Everytihing works fine with the same database as before, BUT; the passwords (which was encrypted) had to be changed to "clear text" to let the users log in. When I register a new member the password is not being encrypted... Nothing else is changed in the forum (no MODs or other specialities). Anyone having the answer?

beta 3 is based on v3.3.xx which is why the passwords are unencrypted. Beta 4 will be based on v3.4.03, so it will have the encrypted passwords.<

Do I have to wait for the release of version 4 or is there a way to turn on encrypting while I'm waiting for the good times to come?
