I've just installed for the first time - everything seems to work just fine, except when I attempt to run the Features script in Admin, when I get the following message.

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forum/admin_config_features.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

A search of this forum reveals someone else with a similar problem, but doesn't really help me resolve it.

Pse can anyone advise where to find the Server.ScriptTimeout" to amend it, or for that matter the IIS Admin Tools?

Help appreciated

You can use the IIS mmc to solve that. You can find in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools, Internet Information Services. It's weird that this happens with that page only. What connection string are you using?

It's me again - for some reason my original user name isn't recognised here anymore (something else I've klutzed up I suppose)

Bizzarely, the problem mentioned in the original post has now vanished. The entire site now runs like a rocket - everything works - quickly! Without going into details, I believe that the problems may have been local to my service provider, after discussions with them - also possibly with my firewall!

Many thanks for the interest ruirib - I have to say that the Snitz software, once you've got the hang of it, is impressive
