Im not quite sure how to?, so ill just state the question before i screw up my old forum hehe.
I would like to upgrade my old forum 3.3.03 to the new 3.4.03, now how ?, just use the update files or do i have to update through all the previous versions (il delete snitz if i have to do that lol)
1. Create a new forum folder. 2. Change config.asp for the new version so that it uses the strDBType and strConnString from the old config.asp. 3. Upload all the new version files to the new folder. 4. Backup your database. 5. Execute setup.asp, choosing 3.3.03 as the version to upgrade from. 6. Rename the old forum folder to a different name. 7. Rename the new forum folder to the old forum folder name. 8. You're done. That's it.
