This is just a random question. We seem to have a few Hebrew and Arabic speaking members here. If I go to their sites, I can see them just fine. Fonts come in nicely. However, if they write Hebrew or Arabic here, I can't see it. Am I missing some font? According to Windows Update I'm not... Anyway, I was hoping someone could clue me in |

Try to select utf-8 (or if it does not work, another one related to the language) in browser's encoding (in IE under Edit/Encoding)...
For example the following post has Arabic words which are only shown well if you select Arabic (Windows) encoding, others do not work: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=35479

Ahh, well I can see what it is if I know what it is beforehand and then pick the right encoding. "Auto" doesn't seem to work (to my disbelief of couse ).
Thanx for the tip bozden. I tinker with most programs, but little right there. It's always under your nose when you least expect it.
Now I just have to learn these other languages |

My hebrew forum should work great with auto encoding, it can even override your setting, try it: http://dudy.mine.nu/537437345846853864376/ the number is because it's still in develpment (translation to be exact) |

DK - it does work well. My problem seemed to be on English pages with other languages included. Either way, I saw both English and Hebrew on your forum.
How would you spell VodkaFish in Hebrew? ? Took a shot |

Thank you, that's just what I needed. Would have kept playing around, but might not have gotten the double-vav (unless I picked up a dictionary). Fun Fun. Thanx again David
Now I can be more of a VodkaFish |
