                      | So how do I use the avatars? I haven't a clue.

                      | Well, in the profile write the URL to the Avatar you want to include and the size ! |

                      | Yeah, I figured I did that part right, but nothing shows up.
When I go back to my profile to set it again, it's gone. It doesn't "keep" for some reason.

[Edit] I had to reset it in admin. I turned it off, saved, then turned it on again and now it's working.

Now, if I can just figure out how to fix the forum.asp from being so wide, this download will be a killer.

Also, the forum.asp is really wide. Looks like it's set at 1024x728 or larger? Have to scroll right to see all of it. Is there a setting where I can change this?

Know this problem, you can change it only in the HTML code, the width for the topic name column is set to "99%"
Remove the whole width tag and it fixes itself.

                      | Anyone know how members can make their own albums? I planned to let people make their own albums and only allow 3 30kb files where they could upload their avatars.
But apparently the admin has to make them an album first.

                      | hi serverhacker,
Thanks for all the effort. Really appreciate it. Just want to ask 2 qns:

 1. the avartar mod seems to only allow linking to a avatar on a known url; does it have built in avatars for selection by the members like in the previous avatar mod under 3.3 and does it support avatar upload?

 2. is there a way for me solve the forum.asp and pop_profile.asp width issue - they don't seem to wrap around and causing a very wide display

 Cheers and thanks again

                      | Hi, suhern
 Try using this "forum.asp":
 forum.zip

I dont see any problems with pop_profile.asp? Can you post a link so i can see what its doing?

about the avatar mod, when they get it updated with the upload and stuff, I will post an update.

                      | Thanks serverhacker. The forum.asp solved the wrapping problem. I have similar wrapping problem with pop_profile.asp |

                      | arrrgg! i didn't have a wrapping problem, then i put that new forum.asp page in and now i do!! doh!
i think its something to do with that "this page has been visited xxx times". if i take that out on my local server it works fine. when i put it in, i get the wrapping.

 --edit--

actually, it works ok if i'm logged in. but if i view it as a visitor, or as admin, then i get the wrapping. weird.

has it got anything to do with the fact that its in a frame?

                      | I've downloaded and installed your modded forums in a test folder but i've a few problems with it.
Firstly, why is there no Home | Profile | Register | Active Topics | Members | Search | FAQ area at the top? Secondly, what are those graphics in the corners supposed to be for? I see that you have a different menu bar in your test forums, is this something to do with this?

Apart from that, so far so good!

                      | Hey Mark, I think you've missed the point of the mod. The modded forum is not simply one that contains a lot of mods, but also a "face change" as well. This can be customised further if you wish - change the colour scheme, change the graphics etc etc. The Home/Profile/Register/Active Topics/Members/Search/FAQ are there - they are in a java applet now - instead of top right.

                      | Just noticed that the Server Information page also displays very wide. Refreshing the browser does not work. |
