Serverhacker, I have updated to your new forum code with the 20 MODs. Everything runs well except for when I try and get to one of my forums, I get this error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10'
No value given for one or more required parameters.
/forum/forum.asp, line 331
Could you please tell me what I am supposed to have there? Thanks in advance! |

Glad I caught you before you posted, I fixed it. I just grabbed the forum.asp file you had in 3.4.03.1 and overwrote the one you had in 3.4.03.4 and then did a update forum counts and everything is fine. You might want to check the codes between both files to be sure they are the same. Thanks for such a great code!
Just an update, I had to do the same thing with topic.asp. The file you have in the new (3.4.03.4) is smaller than the one you had in old (3.4.03.1). Just thought I would let you know. Thanks again. |

CJones, did you try adding the "code_update_005.zip"? They are a little smaller because I am trying to optimize the code as much as possible.
I use them on the test site and my main site, with no problems. Let me know. Thanks

SERVERHACKER thanks so much for ur complete package and all ur effort.. it runs gr8, now doing some style changes to make it fit.
Many many thanks.. as I did 1 MOD in 4 hours before I used ur package.. lol
spotted a little detail, that ur site also has.. the orgdownarrow.gif from Statistics in the dropdown menu has the height of 9 in custom.asp in the resources folder should be 10. Now its missing his point ;)
Also needed to align the menu there some pix.
See custom.asp around line 172
Just a little help back.. ;)

when dbs files uploaded, login admin section goto MOD SETUP and select update for every mod that u c..

| I actually had to get the dbs files so I could input some added tables that were not there. But I did use the smile update, now I lost all my smiles on the smile.asp page and I'm missing (well actually the page shrunk to the left side) the right side of the page. I did use the page that was included with no success. |

Would you please ADD the New Events Calendar Mod for 3.4.03 (beta) to your code and re-release? I tried to add it myself (being the ASP Guru that I'm not) and encountered errors. I noticed many differences in the Calender MOD code and the SH version of Snitz.

| Mercy, as long as your old database is Access 2000 or later, just go into config.asp and point the Database file to your old DB. All your posts and members will then be there. You may have to change some settings back in features too. |

to change the colour on the drop-down, you need to edit resources/custom.asp
you can use your database, just make sure you add the mods you don't already have installed. see posts elsewhere in this thread. |
