Someone's getting the better of you, dayve. I think you need to do something about that. |

I have a coding project coming up really soon at work. I also have some technical writing projects coming up which should really increase my count.... however, I will step down gracefully...... FOR NOW DAMMIT! |

If you don't have one already, you should consider getting a girl in your life. Or if you already have a girl/woman in your life, get one on the side Especially if the main form of comunication is email, it can really boost your key count a lot. I've been typing so many emails that my fingers should be bleeding or at least really numb, but I'm still going stong
You'll get ahead of me again when I take some time off from work though, so don't you worry |

lol - sounds like a good healthy dose of friendly competition to me! I'll be the peanut gallery if you two want to square off and battle neck and neck for a while, it'll be a good show! |

I am so turned off lately by emailing and chat rooms, too many people want to dump their screwy lives in my lap as if I am the person that can fix it for them.
I have a wife, who is quite understanding so I am very lucky to have the keystroke count that I have now... |

Dayve,
Your wife is understanding, crikes, mine just complains I spend to much time on the computer. I have been baned at home from using it for a while, that's why I still come to work to get my fix..

Work has to be go for something and getting paid for working with computers is a bonus... But I like Roland's idea.. (I'll let you lot work out which one )

in an effort to really beat this topic to death, I thought I'd mention that 10,000,000 should be achieved quite shortly for Team Broken Machine |

If I'm not wrong, the name "Broken Machine" comes from the title of one of the Nine Inch Nails albums. But I'll let dayve confirm that for me, lest I be wrong. |

Broken Machine is indeed words that appear in a Nine Inch Nails song titled Gave Up. Oddly enough the song has absolutely nothing to do with technology but my forum takes excerpts from NIN songs for the related topics we have. Our technical section is titled Broken Machine for no real reason except for that is sounded cool for the category. It just carried on over to Project Dolphin since it was first posted in our Broken Machine category... before we built the team that is.

Top Stroker? lolol Some people are proud of very specific capabilities, I guess.
I downloaded and installed this thing about 4 months ago on a different computer, when I reformatted the drive, forgot all about having had it running.
Stumbled on this thread while browsing Snitz and thought I'd do a bit for the home team. Hope you don't mind having a fairly rapid typist. When I'm actually composing something, I just start gabbing - kind of like a few others I could mention ;-)
Anyway, I reset my team info to the Broken Machine one this evening and downloaded the tool again. So maybe all this gabbing will come to some use. |
