I upgraded my DB to 3.4 but I want to use it with 3.3 ....
But now every time I try and login it says my password is incorrect

is there any way I can unencrypt the passwords?
or is this even the problem?

- Thanks

the encryption is one way ... do you cannot unencrypt passwords once encrypted. Why do you want to use it with 3.3 if you have upgraded to 3.4?
