does this require the avatar mod first, or is it a 'all in one' affair?
Thanks |

quote: however, if i reply to a post (ie there is more than one post on the page) i get an error (and only the first post shows up)
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0009' Subscript out of range: 'rM_AVATAR_HEIGHT'

this version also has your avatar mod installed, and everything works fine :
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=35365
i compared the topic.asp of that release with mine, and as far as the avatar-mod insertions go it is identical. so i can't figure out what has gone wrong. i would say it was my problem, but if someone else has an identical problem then there is something weird going on.
no worries, i'll just upgrade to the above release

Not sure if this is a bug or not... I attempted to edit a user's profile who already has an avatar and the URL did not appear. I tried typing in a new one and hitting Save and the change did not get stored to the database. Can you check out this functionality and make sure it works? |

i don't have that problem, i can edit avatars ok. like i said, everything is working fine, except when a reply-to-post appears, then i get the rm_avatar_height error.
Andrey, did you modify the topic.asp before you installed this mod, or did you install on a clean install? if i can remember, i changed topic.asp to show 5 stars for moderators, and the bit i changed was in the same place as the reply_avatar bit (as far as i can remember). so maybe thats it. i'll try with a clean install and see if it fixes it. |

chovis,
This mod looks great! I am currently working on the un-official Snitz CSS board mod. The topic can be found here.
I would like to try and incorporate this MOD with the official release of this project.
How hard would it be to allow users to optionally submit an avatar comment that would display right below the avatar? Also (there may already be a mod for this), how hard would it be to also allow the forum admin to pre-select a group of avatars for a user to choose from?
Thanks once again for an awesome MOD |

you mean like a custom title? preselected ones could be done with a bit of work, id use a field that contained them all and use | to separate them and then split them up when parsing. |
Thanks

I also seem to have the same problem with the 'rM_AVATAR_HEIGHT' thing |
