How about being able to set a timer on a thread where after a certain amount of time the thread's color changes. (LIke the icon or something). An option would be to have the thread get bumped to the top as well.
I run the forums for a gaming society I belong to and we are developing policy. We have a 4 day discussion cycle and a three day vote cycle. What would be great would be to be able to set the timer at the begining of each cycle and then be visually alerted when the cycle was over. Right now we have about 10 policy threads going and checking them over and over again "is it over yet, is it over yet" is really anoying. We cant use the creation date because we may not start the cycle till half way through the thread.
Have no idea if anyone else would find this kind of thing usefull. :)
