many users has told me that when they want to register in my forum
they got this messages when they complete all the steps:

There Was A Problem With Your Details

Username may not contain the word

what can i do... thaks

check the bad word filter and the username filter. Either might contain a word that they're trying to use, although I don't know if the bad word filter is applied to usernames upon registration too.

Ruirib, remember that in 3.4 we don't use the text field for the bad words anymore, so there are no pipes that can mess things up.

LoL, Roland one of us is surely mistaken. I did think this was a 3.3.x question, but I should have moved it elsewhere. That wording "many users..." was the culprit for my reasoning.

Gandalf, what version are we talking about?
