I have one user who is getting an error every time he tries to login to the forums. He got in this morning without trouble, and then when he went back later, he kept getting the following error:

Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0006)
Overflow: 'cLng'
/iceforums/inc_func_common.asp, line 1567

Any ideas?

Is this a Snitz 3.4 problem? My inc.func_common.asp only has 1479 lines?!

mine has 1611, but then again, I am trying to install the Active Users mod as well....

btw, after I posted this, I found another thread that seemed to be about this same problem, (as the error ended up being in the same function, so I followed the fix given there, and now all I have to do is wait for this one user/moderator to log back in to see if the fix worked...

Note: the problem was not hapeening to everybody, jut this one guy....

So when you post about an error on a specific line in your file, please post the line too. Otherwise we don't know what line you're talking about.

most likely it's the same as the problem discussed here:

http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32990

(has to do with subscriptions)

yes, I found that topic after posting this, and I made the changes it suggested, but I haven't heard back from the guy who couldn't log in

I have no idea if it helped him or not

This could be a coincidence but I had the same problem with a couple of members. The only thing they had in common was topic subscriptions. I removed all the current subscriptions and that cleared it up for the members.

They are allowed to create new ones without the error so it must be a problem with the (during) database upgrade. Anyway the problem went away so I posted this so it may help someone else.
