i don't know why ? (maybe some problem with my computer or network..)
but this website http://www.wesworld.net/ keep restrained/banned me from accessing it... (always get a TCP error..after waiting a while..) and i really very interested to get it and have a try for your great mod...

MotoX, Do you have a root folder? i.e. www.mysite.com/photos or /files/photos or something to the like? Did you create any users? Can you give me as much detail as possible? I can't figure out why it doesn't work for you. Everyone else is saying it works right out of the box. As much detail as possible please.
antracit, unless you are using the thumbnailer they are still getting the whole image just resized smaller. I am working on images in a pop up window now, it will be added in the next version.
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded it and tested with it.

received it ! Thank You Very Much ~ burthold.
and i test it on my forum in local server eagerly.. (it's super easy install, i like this!!  )
it really so great! i try installed a lots upload stuff before, never like this time so smoothly...^^
now it seem work fine no big problem...
but may i ask a question..
is the FSO or something just can not accept Chinese word filename??(it's "double-bit character") i have the same problem at "almost" any other upload mods.
at this mod, so strange, when i setup users, it create the folder(Chinese word member name..) no problem. but when upload image, it work fine in English account, but fail in these Chinese account..
and also when upload, the "Description" can't accept Chinese words(but in "edit" page, it just work no problem..)
anyway, it' ok, if this problem really destined by FSO.. 
at least the upload function is work ! and i'll try to find a solution to fit my special situation...^^

Wow, I don't have any experience writing ASP for anything but english. I would assume it has something to do with the database inserts. I use a couple of small functions to filter out charaters that could cause problems. I doubt it is a FSO problem. If you know anyone that works in chinese and ASP have them take a look at it. Maybe some kind soul on the forums here would be willing to look at it and convert it to your language.

Woops! Open up the photo_album_upload.asp and uncomment out the on error resume next at line 10. That should fix it right up for you.

Do you know why sometimes when I go to upload a picture, it appears that everything works but no picture is uploaded? If I retry it will work eventually. Sometimes after 1 or 2 retries, other times it takes about 5...
Seems strange. Is the upload simply timing out? I wouldn't think so because the page returns so quickly....

It could be a time out issue. I haven't seen any issues with timeouts on my site on line 77 of ToFileSystem.asp you can change that and see what happens.
Server.ScriptTimeout = "300"
I'll take a look at it here as well.

| tried the timeout thing, no luck, HOWEVER, The user that was having the problem had smaces in thier user name. When we removed the spaces, it worked... |

Hrum, I didn't test with spaces in the name. I'll test with that. i don't know if the FSO can handle spaces. Thanks for the heads up!

| I doesn't work with spaces the directories get created but the upload class I am using doesn't handle them. I will fix this in the next release should be out sometime next week. |
