Upgraded, the database upgrade showed a couple of errors referring to pending registrations, which didn't exist anyway - updated forum counts and then went into forum - now get a couple of topics show then the message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006'

Overflow: 'cLng'

/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 1432

Can anyone help please (upgrade from the last version of Snitz)

Thanks - see the error at www.blootoon.com/forum

Where do you get that error? I can't find it on your forums.

I'm getting it on the default page - confirm you don't see an error...?

I'll try clearing the cache - is there anything I can do to reset any application variables?

When I log out, I don't see the error - can I email you the username/password? That's when the error seems to show...

I just registered to your forums and I see that you're having the same problem as I had when I upgraded from 3.3.05 to 3.4: a lot of fields in the FORUM_MEMBERS table are set to not allow zero length value. Thereby registration cannot be completed.

quote:

Registration Form for Peterhead - the Bloo Toon

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Field 'FORUM_MEMBERS.M_USERNAME' cannot be a zero-length string.

/forum/register.asp, line 185

This can only be solved by downloading your database and manually changing the fields in aforenamed table to allow zero length values

Nope...changed text and memo fields in old version to accept zero length, uploaded and tried upgrade again - same results. Is it significant that the dropdown box re 'upgrade from' defaults to v3304 (I thought we were using 3305 and selected that option instead).

Also, why are we all doing this on a Sunday?

I managed to register (although I got some stranger errors about information not having been entered) and logged in. Maybe it's because I'm just a member, but I don't get any errors on your forums...

it has to do with subscriptions, not sure exactly what's happening though.
