Frutzle, try subscribing to a forum/topic and see if after the refresh, you get an error. |

It's odd that happened to ya. I've upgraded several 3.3.03 DBs without a single problem. Maybe if you still have the 3.3.0x DB try to upgrade it again, this time specifying the DB to upgrade from as 3.3.03. Maybe it will help. |

I just subscribed to the "Developments regarding this message board." forum and it's still working fine for me...
Scratch that. I'm now getting this:
quote:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Could not use ''; file already in use.
/forum/inc_header.asp, line 106

Ok, I've reimported the original, with the allow zero length changes as mentioned above, tried selected default upgrade from setup.asp (v3304); it says upgrade not successful, I click 'try again', it now defaults to upgrade from (v3305), click ok, it says upgrade completed successfully, but the problem persists. I'll leave it there for now if anyone wants to play - any previous registrations to that forum will need to be retried as I used the old DB backup again. Richard has the username/password; I'm happy for it to be passed to any responsible adults...!

Can you try inserting the following on line #1429 of inc_func_common.asp ?
Response.Write UBound(strArray) : Response.End
I just want to see what the value it's getting is. |

Perhaps this is happening because I made a bad joke about Elvis.
I am very, very sorry Elvis. |

What had I missed Richard? (it's working now and I presume you have fixed it) |

I'm not sure, for some reason the InArray function isn't working correctly on some forums, but it works on others. I never had any errors during testing. |

It's all part of the wider bug hunt - good that it's open to all now; am sure it will pan out fine. What did you do, just in case anyone else searches for this problem?
By the way, thanks to all for such a speedy response to this. Or perhaps I should say "this solution was generated in 0.27 secs"
