I have just downloaded the latest version of S/F and registered with Brinkster's free service. Also read the installation guide and Help page (spoon) I thought it was plain sailing, then realised there are mods required (which I have downloaded). Are there any more suprises before i get a working forum
1/ is there a definitive brinkster forum prep guide?
2/ Do I have to simply replace files with same name with moded files?
3/ Does Brinkster run ok with Snitz?

In the light and watching Richard

wether you think you can, or wether you think you cant... you are right!

Which mods are required for the forum?
Brinkster has a problem with the "on error resume next" statement, which have been replaced with "on error goto 0"

To use Snitz with Brinkster, take the Brinkster files from here:

http://ls3k.com/snitz/mods.asp

The forum should then run without problems.
With the mods. If you replace the files (Brinkster files) with the ones from the mods, you could get the problem mentioned above. Then you have to address the problem yourself and remove the "on error resume next"

I'd say setup your forum with the Brinkster files, as Rasco recommended.

Then, when setting up a mod, change your existing files (after backing them up), instead of replacing them.

This last situation from amir has been fixed by Richard elsewhere, so no need for anyone to worry about it...

Amir, Richard has answered that already. Please don't post about the same problem in different topics.

If you care to wait a few days Snitz 3.4 will allow you that.
