Hi There,
I'm trying to setup some forums that require that the admin validate all users before they can post. I've read that there is some way of doing this using the Email Validation Mod, so I installed it. Nice mod, went very smooth, good thing as I'm not a programer.

Sorry, guess I didn't explain it well.
I need to make it so that any new signups have to be approved before they can post any messages. I read someplace here that there was a way to do this using the Email Validation Mod and changing it so that the validation email is sent to the admin instead of the user.
I'm trying to find out what I need to change to make that happen.

Well I don't know if that can be done. To approve registrations, there is the Approve Registrations mod, don't know if it uses the Email Validation or not, though.
You may want to wait for 3.4. It should be out this week and will include both features (email validation and registration approval) right out of the box... |

Ah, didn't know 3.4 would have that or that it would be out this week. Guess that means adding the mods all over again next week
