Hi there

Just created my forum

All seems ok except I cant seem to use the submit button in many places.. e.g. Cant create new topic or as an admin cant rename forum.. because when I click submit nothing happens.

I can change admin settings like the forum name etc but others i cant.
HELP!

Pretty weird. Have you talked to your host about this. Looks like a server issue. I had never seen such a thing before.

Its on my server - i have control over it.

Its a IIS5 (windows 2000) server

More info

The server actually hosts like hundreds of other websites (asp and mainly static html sites)

its my companies server.. Iam just using it to test the forum software before I put on to my own website.

I throught it might be a bug/known thing that was common! hehe.. never my luck

Funny, it only happens with th Submit buttons on forms, all other form buttons (reset, preview) work. I really don't know why this happens...

Just checking, did you use any special setting when setting up the website or something? Permissions, something else?

I just unzipped forum files setup the config and uploaded to server.. my admin guy then basically put the db in to a directory on the server and set permissions until it worked :-)

Also.. I tried this..

converted the access 97 db thats included with the install and made it 2000 format.. then changed connection string.. EXACT same problem.

Well I don't think that will happen in another web server. I don't know what is causing that but I'd never seen it before, so must be something very specific being done at your site. Maybe try it at your website...

hmm.. our server is standard IIS 5 (windows 2000) sp2 with all patches
