Sorry for posting in here. Didn't spot the bug forum

Apologies if this has already been reported.

If you click on the 'Profile' link from post.asp and modify your profile, you get returned to 'post.asp' as you should but the hidden variable 'refer' is then blank so when you post you get the following error :-

Response object error 'ASP 0158 : 80004005'

Missing URL

Tried it on here and you get the same thing.

Is/will there be a mod available ??

OK - got it slightly wrong. I've modified the code to use a response.redirect instead of the meta refresh (its quicker) but I've have just cut & pasted this from this forum.
Notice how the 'Refer' hidden varaiable is blank. When you post it just leaves you no where :-

Eh, similar things happen from time to time. Empty "refer" is also the reason of the "endless refresh feature".

I didn't get any errors, but due to the empty "referer", I was redirected to nowhere

so I got a blank page.

The endless refresh problem has been fixed in 3.4... and it should fix any other problems associated with the Refer field.

It has not been fully fixed in the 3.4 version. We have made some changes that would prevent it somewhat, but you will still encounter it.
