My sincere thanks for your timely [b]response[b] and help.

This is not usual for me, but happens from time to time... Especially if they are about v4 compatibility of MODs .

It's a timing thing, Bozden. I restarted this on Sunday and needed quick veification and help to sort out my thinking process...and here it is, done for now. Again, appreciate it.

Will continue to play with this mod as time permits esp. trying out your doLangCode and locale specific dateformat....since it is still a mixed bag of things - esp. dateformat. This current workaround approach simply put strYear ="" (blank) for english and other European languages and strYear ="year" (Chinese Char) for Asian (Japanese and Chinese)...which basically allows proper year representation for them as they are the same among these languages. I also modified all longname expression to "numeric month name" + "strMonth" as in the same way for "year." since it was showing numeric year and character full month, making it consistent with 2002 "Year" 8 "Month" type expression....Only remaining item for this MODS to be "fully" V4x Internationalization compatible is to make it handle various dateformat for languages/region/country selectively definable....which I assume would be easily accommodated with V4b04 with its dateformat internationalization.

Now I know where to find codes and what involved/may need to be changed, I will take a rest from this for now (i.e. back to basic learning on VBscript....)

I see B-Day calendar in Member Profile of V3.4, which is basically the same mini monthly calandar with expanded range of years. Assume this will be "internationalized" as well which also tells me that all region/locale/language dependent dateformats (short, med, long) are re-coded and deployed (or to be implemented) in V4b04....????

Just loaded with Mozila...different from IE..and obviously supports different dateformat - like I get Hawaii Standard Time notation for my date display (US format) showing a time zone...interesting. Also I noticed Mozila has different codepage/charsets organizatiion - and there is a group of Far Eastern language and more different codepages for Japanese and Chinese. Also they use different font types for Japanese than IE or Chinese for that Matter...believe they use Mincho for Japanese... Also when you downsize a window, it also wraps text differently.... a same field, for example, Upcoming Event, "There is no event in/for a next month" in Japanese, wraps in a single vertical text in Mozila but not in IE .. So there is a continuing issue for handling DATA, Application and Presentation layer thing.... vs. Browser.

Interesting... I haven't touched on Netscape for almost 3 years but Mozila is nice. Reminded me why we stick with Sony for TV (from the very first day of Trinitron and when it was adopted by Apple for Mac....it somehow brighter and bit more crisp than IE...intersting.)

But I get this security warning when login and send submit a post....probably security level is set higher than in IE...am not sure. But get this "unencrypted connection" warning.... Well, got to learn more about this, am only with it for 15 min.
